Our university’s partnership with Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) – one of Mexico’s leading social science research centers – opens up new exchange possibilities for our students for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Founded in 1974 and part of Mexico’s national network of public research centers, CIDE offers strong programmes across Economics, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy and International History – at both its Santa Fe campus in Mexico City and its Región Centro campus in Aguascalientes.
📅 Key deadlines:
🔹 Spring 2027 nomination: October 16, 2026 | application: October 26, 2026
🔹 Fall 2027 nomination: May 14, 2027 | application: June 4, 2027
🗣️ Instruction is primarily in Spanish (B2 level required), though some coursework is available in English – a great opportunity for students looking to sharpen their language skills while engaging with rigorous academic content.
Students can spend up to two semesters at CIDE. As always, mobility like this is what keeps our academic community connected to the wider world – new perspectives, new questions, new colleagues.
