One of the strategic directions assumed by the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca is the conclusion of partnerships and membership in international university networks/associations/consortia. This not only helps UBB to increase its network of international partners and its global visibility, but also allows it to develop its study programmes, to keep abreast of the latest developments in education and research, and to take part in advanced cooperation projects and global events. However, the decision to join international academic associations depends on serious consultation between the university leadership and the wider academic community.
