The Faculty of Business Studies of the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer will carry out an “International Project Week” during the spring semester of 2023. The idea of the event is to give students the opportunity to acquire a broader range of views beyond the regular lectures by case studies, trips to companies and extra lectures offered by professors from our university, lecturers from foreign universities and industry experts.
We would like to invite you to be a part of this event!
It would be a possibility to get to know our university and professors as well as to discover East-Frisia as a part of Northern Germany. Due to the variety of thrilling lectures and the international orientation of the “International Project Week” it has a high value for our students. Your participation would enrich this event! If you unfortunately do not have the time or interest to participate, please feel free to forward this invitation to a colleague.
The „International Project Week“ will take place from April 24th – 28th 2023 and will be financed by Teaching Staff Mobility under Erasmus+ or by other financial means by your home university. During these five days lecturers will provide a seminar-type lesson including a self-studying period for the students, where students should work out a task that will be included in the lecture. The specific topic of the lecture could be chosen from various business areas like marketing, finance, management, information technology and so on.
If you decide to participate we would appreciate an introduction of your home institution at the beginning of your lecture. We are planning to offer several activities during this week. You will get to know the city of Emden andthe surrounding area.In addition to our Formal Dinner we will organize a “Come Together” at our campus-based “Lüttje Studi Huus” where everyone brings food and/or drinks and, if you like also music, from their home country and gives a short presentation of the home university. Selected drinks will be offered.
On Wednesday April 26th we will take you to a day trip to Leer, where you will discover the Miniaturland Leer. After a lunch break we will participate in a traditional East-Frisian tea ceremony at the Bünting Tea-Museum. A preliminary schedule of the social programme is attached.
